EUR/USD

My bearish EUR/USD inclination panned out today with a large crash. I am happy about that drop. I am not taking up a long position that, based on my calculations should start a bullish trend topping out around 1.255. I am setting a take profit at 1.25. Should be a healthy week long gain and give me a 12% weekly gain on that one trade alone... again this is all based off of indicators and calculations I have done, I do not account for world news... I find it never really helps me... maybe something I should work on haha.

This month is about over for me, my last day of trading will be Tuesday because I am going on vacation, but already I am up over 25% for the month and hope to repeat that again next month. This month I didn't think I would pull it out with two days of double digit percentage losses. But... God is great, my wife is amazing, and my strategy is working.

WOW

So can I just say... WOW! After losing nearly 6% this morning, I rode the GBP/JPY for a daily net of +12.78%. Today has been super volatile too. Anyone else notice this? I jumped a 25 pip gain on one trade, then rode it back the other way back down 28 pips. It is up and down today. Some of the more obscure pairs have had changes of over 1,200 pips!

My wife is amazing as always. She keeps me on track. Even when I have a big set back and want to pull it all out and cut my loses, she keeps me motivated and reminds me that losses are part of the game. Sometimes you need to take a step (or 5) backwards in order to take 15 forwards. A bad day is nothing compared to a good one... if you remember to follow the system and not get emotional.

Not Much To Report

Not much to report today. I made a tad over 2% today, which is great. Made an extra .1% on trading in favor of interest too! I didn't spend any time tonight trading, I will be placing some orders in the morning after some analysis. I will let you know how that goes.

I am going to be taking off from 11/26 through 12/3 because I am traveling for Thanksgiving. I may still place an order or two, but nothing major at all.

I want to thank my amazing wife for yet another day of keeping me honest to my rules. It is because of her that I "don't loose money" ~Warren Buffett.

It's Friday! That means the end of the monotonous work week and hello to fun in the sun. The trading week was a bit of a U for me. What do I mean? Well I started the week off at $269.27, had a boom on Monday of 4.51%, then slowly each day was worse than the previous... Tuesday gain 1.97%, Wednesday gain 1.35%, Thursday 1.79% and then Friday... it's still only 7:12 AM PST and I am up 8.83%! Thank you USD for booming on the new retail sales report haha. I honestly don't trade according to the news, but it definitely gave me a nice boom!

My wife kept me strong this week. The EUR/JPY is kicked my ass a bit. I took a 5% (account value) loss on Wednesday... partly why my day was my worst of the week. She made me stick to my rules... thank you, because now it is even higher and I woulda been sitting with a huge loss of 10-15%.
